After my Rimmel and Benefit brand focus posts, I thought I'd do a little one on MAC as I am quite the MAC fan. I discovered MAC years ago through other bloggers, particularly from the Beauty Crush, who always raved about their lipsticks, so I went ahead and bought my first ever MAC lipstick, and the life long love affair began! If you want to know a little bit more about the history of MAC, the website have kindly done so for you here- which I just read for the first time myself, pretty interesting actually! Anyway...
MAC, how I love thee...let me count the ways: the quality, the packaging, the variety, the durability!- MAC's got it A-L-L in my eyes. I use the above products on a day-to-day basis. The cremeblend blush is perfect for younger skin which leaves a much more natural finish rather than a powdery look, the eyeliner has lasted me ages and doesn't budge (but can be smudged for that sultry, smoky look if that's what you're after), the fluid line liner was the first ever gel liner I tried and I was sold (once I got the knack of applying it!), the lipsticks are my go-to lip colours- Russian red for a night out or a quick pop of colour if you're in a hurry, please me for a simple nude lip look and rebel for a deeper, darker look for going out. I only tend to buy MAC every now and then, in other words, not very often as it's not cheap and I do think you could find similar, just as good products by cheaper brands though I think the quality of MAC is better. It's a great brand for professional make up artists as they literally have every product and tool under the sun, just check their website here to see what I mean! If you're not satisfied with your current make up routine or don't think it's really doing the trick, I'm pretty sure MAC will have a product that will solve your make up woes- just be sure to check them out at a counter and get some advice first or read a few blog reviews before purchasing a product.
