Wowza! Well apparently my face is pretty expensive. I didn't realise what I was puting on my face everyday was worth 107 pounds and 61 pence. Although, baring in mind some of these products were received as gifts or as part of a set so I probably haven't spent that much on everything. But you honestly wouldn't think it was worth so much by looking at the photo. Whenever I go into Boots (drugstore in the UK), I pick up about 5 things and I end up paying loads and never understand how such a little amount of little items cost so much! I guess that is the price we pay to look good, or for me- just humanly normal and not like I'm heading to a Halloween fancy dress party.
Despite that, I do try to stick to make up that is kinder to my purse, or should I say, my parents bank account, tehe. I buy a lot of my make up from Rimmel- they're cheap, cheerful and always do the trick. I only splurge out on products like foundation or lipsticks (MAC comes up tops), sometimes blushers or concealers too...they are products that are worth the extra money. And luckily half of the make up on this photo lasts me a very long time. I don't think I could afford that kind of thing every month on make up. This is generally what I'll put on everyday or on a night out to keep me looking human.
I tag everyone to do this- I'd love to see how much you spend on make up as well (and perhaps make me feel a little better about how much I spend)! Leave a comment below with a link to your post.
Ps. I have put all prices in pounds as the majority of things listed are bought on trips to UK or online and saves the confusion of currency exchange! Idea taken from Amy valentines blog, check out her version here .
